All applications are via online submission only and open from Nov through to July each year

Category One – If your project falls under specific community welfare and social services, community development, health services and other projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people

Special Instructions

The NSW State Government requirements now mean all Club Grant applications have to go before a local committee for determination before payments are awarded. The committee includes Walgett Shire Council, Walgett Sporting Club, Walgett RSL and Lightning Ridge District Bowling Club. The Committee has now met and the Club Grant Round dates and time frames are listed below: Lightning Ridge Bowling Club will present any applications are scheduled to be determined.

3rd JUN – 2nd AUG 24 – Open for Submissions
7th AUG 24 – Applications Assessed
27th – 29th AUG 24 – Reported for endorsement to Club Board & WSC
30th AUG 24 – Applicants are notified of the status of their application (successful/unsuccessful). Successful applicants are sent funds via eft
